Requirements for a fully compliant “Level 1 ETNZ certified emission inspection station”

Training with examination has been successfully concluded.
Training for each strand level 1 shop will be different, but up to ETNZ’s standards.

Equipment requirements for a Certified level 1 Petrol shop:

All equipment needs to meet standards as determined by ETNZ Ltd. This includes calibration and homologation standards.
Any generic tool introduced will have to go through a homologation process, which upon successful completion will receive a homologation number which is published on this ETNZ public web site.

A Level 1 shop will only contribute circumstancial data to this project, as no emission values are taken. Through being a level one shop the operator can determine if there is a business case for stepping up a level and for the purchase of an emission tester.
